Job Summary
Cement finisher responsible for placement and surface preparation of concrete in conformance with project requirements. Duties include positioning forms, moving pump hose or concrete bucket, leveling and finishing concrete surfaces with screed, bull float, and trowel, applying hardening and sealing compounds, and installing anchors and fixtures. Requires safety focus, ability to read blueprints/shop drawings, attention to detail, reliable punctuality, and effective communication. Preferred qualifications include experience with construction layout, blueprint reading, OSHA 10, CPR & First Aid certifications. Physical demands include heavy work, frequent walking, climbing, working at heights, and exposure to dust and outdoor conditions. Full-time employment with company benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Must be able to take initiative
- Possess a keen attention to detail and be able to follow instructions
- Workers must provide their own safety footwear
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally
- Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills
- Must be reliable and punctual
