Cement Finisher (Concrete Journeyman only)

Job Summary
Cement Finisher needed to read blueprints and specifications, set up and align concrete forms, mix and pour concrete, and finish surfaces using hand and power trowels. Duties include constructing and dismantling wooden and concrete forms, ensuring form alignment per blueprints, adhering to safety protocols, and performing required PPE, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights. Requires minimum four years of carpenter experience in refinery/plant construction, knowledge of carpentry tools, ability to pass craft proficiency testing or NCCER, and completion of safety and site-specific trainings plus drug testing and background checks. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Carpenter in refinery, chemical, petrochemical, plant construction, maintenance or new construction
- Knowledge of carpentry tools
- Experience in building forms
- Must be able to pass Craft proficiency testing at or above 70% or have an NCCER
- Complete Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within the approved drug testing program
- Must pass background check
