Job Summary
Operate cementing equipment and related field tools during well-site operations, ensuring safe rig-up and rig-down of units, pumps, and associated machinery. Drive and position equipment to job locations using a CDL A vehicle, while monitoring performance to maintain proper rates and pressures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document service tickets and logs, and assist with mixing and loading cement materials. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all safety policies throughout the 15 days on / 6 days off rotation. This role supports critical oilfield operations with a focus on precision, reliability, and customer satisfaction across various locations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating cementing equipment in oilfield or related field operations
- Demonstrated competency in rig-up and rig-down procedures for cementing units and associated equipment
- Valid CDL A license with no restrictions and a clean driving record
- Ability to work a 15 days on / 6 days off schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues in the field
- Capacity to work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather
- Solid understanding of oilfield safety practices and commitment to safe work behaviors
- High school diploma or GED
- Current DOT medical certification
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with high-pressure pumping operations
- Familiarity with different cement blends, additives, and job design parameters
- Experience working on multi-well pads or high-activity drilling and completion programs
- Basic computer or electronic data entry skills for use with job reporting systems
- H2S, SafeLand, or equivalent oilfield safety training
- Previous formal training or certification in cementing operations
