Job Summary
Manage data integrity and workflow for the procurement, handling, storage, and shipment of cord blood and cellular therapy products. Maintain spreadsheets and databases, generate reports for internal and external customers, and oversee logistics including product inventory management for research use. This full-time position in Gainesville, FL, offers a starting salary of $17.00 - $18.70 per hour. You may be expected to work various hours, including overtime and weekends. LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving over 150 hospitals across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet and maintain LifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements
- Must be able to work various hours, which may include overtime and/or working weekends
- Proficient in MS Office
- Basic computer skills
- Strong comprehension of written, oral, and visual instructions
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Organized with strong record-keeping skills
- Positive attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Criminal background check
- Drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in data or inventory management in a laboratory, blood bank and/or research environment
