Cellular Therapies Lab Specialist I

Job Summary
Perform technical processing procedures related to autologous and allogeneic peripheral blood stem cells, bone marrow, and therapeutic cellular therapy products. Prepare products for transplantation and participate in patient bedside infusion; conduct laboratory operations in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate as part of a team and adhere to policies, procedures, and professional standards. Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology or a related chemistry/biology degree with MLS/certification, plus one year of related cellular processing experience; preferred experience in autologous/allogeneic stem cell processing and AABB Cellular Therapies Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology, OR Bachelor's degree in chemical or biological (transcripts may be reviewed to determine eligibility) AND certification (MLS or categorical)
- One (1) year of related experience in cellular processing, aseptic technique, and/or cryopreservation methods
