Job Summary
Serve the guest food and beverages at The Cellar Bar while providing friendly, attentive customer service that exceeds expectations. Greet guests, check identification for legal age requirements, and mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks using company and craft recipes. Monitor patrons for appropriate alcohol intake, maintain food safety and public health regulations, and keep the bar area clean, safe, and organized. Process payments, balance cash receipts, and manage inventory while adhering to Ponte values and winery environmental standards. Available nights, weekends, and holidays with 1-2 years of bartending experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Have a thorough understanding of food safety and public health regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card is required
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays
- 1-2 years Bartending experience required
- Ability to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner
- Exhibits integrity (honesty and truthfulness)
- Has attention to detail
- Must have excellent communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Must have exceptional grooming standards that are consistent with company guidelines
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Must be able to work up to 8 hours per shift
