Cell Tech/Network Field Technician

Job Summary
Cell Site-focused responsibilities include installation and maintenance of cellular base station equipment, microwave radios, and fiber equipment, plus testing and troubleshooting of DWDM and related network transport gear. Execute fiber splicing, terminating, testing, and locating; monitor base station and microwave performance; coordinate capacity and retune microwave radios; assist tower crews with path alignment and repair of PCS/microwave lines and antennas; maintain cell site records and maintenance reports; uphold service-vehicle presentation and site compound cleanliness. This role requires an on-call rotation with 24/7 availability during on-call periods and 50% travel to and from sites. Requires a minimum of a 2-year technical degree (or equivalent experience), a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and strong interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree and/or equivalent experience
- Current driver’s license
- ability to pass pre-employment checks (criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, substance screening)
- ability to spend at least 50% of time traveling to sites by vehicle
- must be able to lift 75 pounds
