Job Summary
Drive end-to-end execution of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People goals for the Steam Repairs Cell, managing human and capital resources to meet contracted cost and delivery targets. Lead "wing-to-wing" operations including rotor and valve repair scheduling, material flow, and labor allocation while serving as a technical mentor and Lean change agent. Oversee budget delivery, root-cause analysis for operational challenges, and collaboration with engineering, quality, and customer teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Business discipline from an accredited university
- High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant and progressive heavy industrial manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing operations, production management, or engineering roles
- Demonstrated experience in a people-leading role (direct or indirect reports)
- Must be able to manage complex projects, issue regular status reports, and have the ability to communicate at customer, sales and projects levels
- Knowledge of Steam Rotor assembly
- Knowledge of Steam rotor repair operations
- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent quality certification)
- Strong knowledge of standard operating cost systems and production/inventory control
- Excellent interpersonal, influence, and oral/written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks under tight deadlines
- Strong continuous improvement, problem-solving, and organizational mindset with a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrates and develops behaviors consistent with Innovation, Lean, Customers, One Team, and being Accountable
