Job Summary

Execute end-to-end Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals for the generator cell while managing repair operations, human and capital resources, and Lean change initiatives. Lead "wing-to-wing" scheduling, material flow, and labor allocation to meet customer commitments, oversee winding and test-and-balance activities, and drive root-cause analysis for technical and personnel issues. Select, train, and develop a diverse team of salaried and hourly employees while serving as the primary liaison between internal support functions and external vendors. Develop cell-wide strategy aligned with broader business objectives and master production scheduling. Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience required; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Business discipline from an accredited university
  • High School diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant and progressive heavy industrial manufacturing experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing operations, production management, or engineering roles
  • Demonstrated experience in a people-leading role (direct or indirect reports)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent quality certification)
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets to drive business decisions
  • Strong knowledge of standard cost systems and production/inventory control
  • Knowledge of generator disciplines
  • Knowledge of repair operations
  • Excellent interpersonal, influence, and oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong continuous improvement, problem-solving, and organizational mindset with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrates and develops behaviors consistent with Innovation, Lean, Customers, One Team, and being Accountable
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must successfully complete a drug screen (as applicable)
