Job Summary
CEI Senior Inspector leading daily FDOT roadway and bridge inspection activities in South Florida, overseeing field testing, surveying, and documentation; mentoring junior inspectors and coordinating with contractors and engineers to ensure constructability and compliance with plans, standards, and project-specific requirements; roles include review of plans/shop drawings, reporting, and supporting final estimates/close-out. Preferred certifications include IMSA Traffic Signal and CTQP levels, with a strong emphasis on FDOT specifications, field-testing expertise, and professional field representation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of construction inspection experience, with 4 years focused on FDOT roadway and/or bridge projects
- Strong working knowledge of FDOT specifications, standard plans, procedures, and documentation requirements
- Proficiency in field testing, materials verification, and CEI documentation workflows (e.g., PrC, MAC)
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and represent KEITH professionally in the field
