CEI Project Manager

Job Summary
Support client relationships and serve as a technical liaison for FDOT, municipalities, agencies, and transit authorities while assisting with business development pursuits and proposal strategy. Provide technical guidance to inspection and project teams, review plans, specifications, schedules, RFIs, claims, and change orders, and assist with constructability reviews, risk mitigation, and issue resolution. Mentor field and office staff and participate in developing new contract opportunities and refining policies and procedures. This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 10 years of experience in transportation or municipal construction, with a valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle on job sites. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 10 years relevant experience
- Experience in project administration
- Experience in construction of major road or bridge structures
- Proven ability to successfully address challenging or potentially controversial issues in a sound professional and business-like manner
- Experience in transportation, municipal, development, or transit-related construction
- Highly adaptable
- Resilient
- Comfortable working across diverse project types
- Ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and internal teams
- Valid driver's license
- Insurable
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle on highways and job sites
- Strong oral and written communications skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing
- SPE or PA experience on FDOT and municipal construction projects
