Job Summary
Receive general instructions regarding assignments and exercise independent judgment in solving work problems. Direct and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff while assisting in all phases of the construction project. Develop progress estimates and final estimates throughout the project duration. This role supports a collaborative, pro-project mindset within a Florida-based CEI firm delivering transportation and civil engineering projects.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida
- Must obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within six (6) months of Project NTP if registered in another state
- Two (2) years of engineering experience in relevant transportation projects
- Eight (8) years of CEI or roadway or bridge construction experience
- Two (2) of those years involved in relevant transportation projects
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management preferred
- FDOT Advanced MOT
- CTQP Final Estimates Level II
- CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)
