Job Summary
Perform field inspections and quality assurance for transportation landscape projects; maintain inspection records, prepare detailed reports with photographic documentation, and make recommendations for corrective actions. Conduct soil analysis and advise on soil amendments to optimize landscape performance. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely landscape installation, participate in pre-construction meetings to address potential issues, and assist in developing maintenance plans for long-term landscape success. Knowledge of landscape installation methods, reading Contract Documents, and FDOT/FDEP practices is preferred; a high school diploma with several years of related experience is required. Must be a US citizen with a valid driver’s license and be eligible for employment; relocation and sponsorship are not available for this position.
