CEI Inspector - Transportation Market

Job Summary
CEI Inspector role focused on observing and inspecting construction work, preparing daily inspection reports and constructability reviews, overseeing earthwork/erosion control/concrete work, reviewing plans and shop drawings, maintaining daily logs, handling RFIs and submittals, coordinating with contractors and client personnel, and advising on non-compliance. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of roadway construction/inspection experience; TDOT CEI certifications are a plus with potential post-hire training. Proficiency in data entry, reporting, English communication, and working independently; physically capable of frequent movement and lifting up to 25 pounds. Hybrid work arrangement in Knoxville, TN.
Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of construction or inspection experience on roadway projects
- Familiarity with TDOT specifications or similar
- Ability to learn use of inspection tools and data entry systems
