Job Summary
Entry-level Construction Engineering Inspection support role focusing on field surveying, construction layout verification, and basic engineering calculations. Assists higher-level inspectors in inspecting construction work, conducting field tests, sampling materials, preparing project documentation (field books, density logs, and Final Estimate packages), and recording quantities. Duties include measuring distances and dimensions for verification, observing workmanship against specifications, preparing samples for laboratory testing, maintaining daily logs of inspection activities, and following simple technical instructions. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and DOT Intermediate MOT within six months; must be able to work in a team environment and typically 40 hours per week with possible overtime.
