Job Summary
Assist higher-level inspectors with field surveying, construction layout verification, and conducting material sampling/testing; perform basic engineering calculations, document contractor work daily, prepare field books, density logs, and contribute to Final Estimate package; observe workmanship to ensure conformance to specifications and prepare material samples for laboratory testing.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must obtain DOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of employment
- Ability to work in team environment
- Position requires minimum of 40 hours a week with possibility of overtime
