Job Summary
Entry-level CEI Inspector Aide supporting field surveying, construction layout verification, and material testing. Responsibilities include daily documentation of contractor work, field book and density log preparation, material sampling and testing, assisting with Final Estimate package, measuring dimensions, observing workmanship for conformity to specifications, preparing samples for laboratory testing, maintaining daily inspection/activity logs, and performing basic mathematical calculations under supervision. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, DOT Intermediate MOT within six months, ability to work in a team, and 40-hour weekly schedule with potential overtime.
