Job Summary
Lead activities related to enterprise risk management and ceded reinsurance policies, designing and executing placement strategies with brokers and reinsurers. Manages placement lifecycle from strategy to execution, supports renewal data and marketing materials, and ensures contract language aligns with coverage intent and compliance. Works with underwriting, actuarial, and finance stakeholders to strengthen the program narrative and collaborates with legal on contract terms. Ideal candidates bring strategic analysis, consultative leadership, and cross-functional negotiation experience in reinsurance, with emphasis on Alternative Ventures and Specialty Finance. Travel and on-site collaboration may be required; opportunities to work remotely for qualified candidates may be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Eight years experience in risk management, property and casualty reinsurance underwriting, or property and casualty claims or accounting
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Experience with reinsurance programs design, placement, and administration
- Ability to collaborate with brokers, reinsurers, and senior leadership
- Experience negotiating contract terms and coverage
- Project management experience preferred
- Education in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred
