Job Summary
Lead CDU Trainer to complete denial follow-up processes, review CARC codes, and prepare reporting on trends for team education. Train new and current members on denials resolution workflows while facilitating matter referrals to appropriate subject matter experts. Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors to request information or take action for effective resolution. Perform varied duties including resubmitting corrected claims with supporting documentation to ensure proper patient account handling. Communicate issues to management timely and coordinate with organizational departments for accurate claim management.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/ GED OR 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
- 3+ Years of working experience in medical specialty billing
- Strong Claims Understanding - Clean Claim, UB 04 Format, 1500 Format
- Strong 835 Remittance Understanding
- Working Experience of CARC Codes
- Ability to prepare training documentation & presentation skills
