CDS - Sales Manager - CAN

Job Summary
Achieve assigned quantitative and qualitative sales goals by creating and conducting sales presentations, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and up-selling CDS service capabilities including training, POP programs, and Brand Ambassadors. Develop innovative service capabilities and leverage existing customer relationships to access new business opportunities while utilizing sales tools like Retail Logic to keep Costco informed. Build and manage outstanding relationships with vendors, brokers, and buyers, and collaborate with the Director of Sales on the creation and execution of the annual strategic business plan. Direct reports through hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation, while providing guidance to indirect reports. Travel up to 10% to support these essential duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent experience
- 5+ Years of experience in related sales experience with strong customer focus
- 2 Years of experience managing people
- Ability to make Oral Presentations
- Ability to Gather Data, Compile Information, & Prepare Reports
- Intermediate Knowledge of PC Software Applications & Strong Understanding of PC Operating Systems
- Supervising Skills, to include Delegating Responsibility, Training, & Evaluating Performance
- Ability to Visualize & Plan Objectives & Goals Strategically
- Team Building Skills
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Travel up to 10 %
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
- Very strong leadership, relationship building, customer focus and project management skills
- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills
- Highly proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task across multiple projects and customers
- Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills with the capability to present to the top executive levels of any organization
- Bilingual English and French (Preferred)
