CDQI Nurse Specialist- FT

CDQI Nurse Specialist will conduct daily evaluations of inpatient records to improve documentation clarity, completeness, and medical record quality. You will collaborate with physicians and caregivers to ensure appropriate reimbursement and clinical severity for DRG-based payer patients, improve coding specificity, follow AHA guidelines and coding clinics, and query physicians for missing or conflicting information. Responsibilities include maintaining daily production logs, performing follow-up reviews, ensuring confidentiality, and meeting production and quality metrics. Requires 3+ years of CDI and clinical experience in an academic medical center, RN license with BSN, and CCDS/CDIP certification. Remote role across the United States with compensation paid hourly ($40-$45/hour equivalent to $83,200-$93,600/year).
