Job Summary
Strategic, senior nonprofit leadership role leading CAP OC’s advancement and public-engagement work. Oversees fundraising strategy across major gifts, corporate donations, grants, planned giving, and in-kind resources; drives revenue growth and brand visibility; partners with CEO and Board to expand philanthropic support, develop staff, and ensure financial sustainability. Responsibilities include designing and managing fundraising timelines and budgets, securing grant funding, managing donor relations, and supervising communications and marketing to support fundraising and public engagement; requires strong leadership, ethical standards, relationship-building, and travel to CAP OC locations and events. Must have a bachelor’s degree (CFRE a plus) and substantial experience in development leadership; travel and California driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience leading a Development team.
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential is a plus.
