Job Summary
Lead end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and modeling solutions, including predictive models, patient analytics, alert systems, and experimentation design for assigned therapeutic areas. Partner with U.S.-based investment and media teams to align analytical priorities with brand strategies and launch goals, integrating multi-domain insights to support strategic and tactical decisions. Mentor L5 and L4 data scientists on TA-aligned projects, ensuring effective prioritization, delivery governance, and performance management. Translate technical outputs into actionable business stories for senior stakeholders while representing Amgen India's MIO capability in business planning and enterprise forums. Ensure model documentation and methodologies adhere to CD&A standards for quality and reproducibility.
Required Qualifications
- Educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or related quantitative field
- 12-17 Years of total exp and 7–10 years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or commercial effectiveness with exposure to pharmaceutical or life sciences domains
- Strong understanding of how brand investment decisions are made, deployed, and measured within commercial pharma
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical insights in clear, actionable business language to senior non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Databricks
- Experience managing analytics delivery teams and coordinating with global counterparts on timelines, expectations, and deliverables
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pharma media and investment analytics and brand measurement frameworks
- Familiarity with media and omnichannel measurement, marketing mix modeling, or field force optimization analytics
- Experience working in a global matrixed environment supporting commercial and medical stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong bias toward structured storytelling and collaborative problem solving
