Job Summary
Operate company-assigned Class A commercial vehicles safely, transporting fragile freight to customer locations or distribution centers. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads per DOT regulations, and maintain accurate trip logs. Navigate port pickups and drop-offs with TWIC access when assigned, completing one overnight route weekly. Primarily handle local work in PA, NJ, DE, NY, and MD, with 95% no-touch freight operations. Available for automatic or stick-shift driving.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- at least 3 years of recent CDL-A driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major violations or preventable accidents)
- TWIC card
- Ability to lift, secure, and manage cargo as needed
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional in all interactions
- one weekly overnight trip
- primarily local work in PA, NJ and DE, with some driving in NY and MD
- Automatic or stick-shift driving
