Job Summary
Deliver specialty building products including hardwood lumber, sheet stock, doors, and supplies to commercial and industrial customers using a Class A CDL. Physically load and unload trucks at customer sites while adhering to all safety procedures, attending safety meetings, and following DOT policies. Perform heavy lifting to store, remove, and load products as needed. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule with one overnight shift per week. Candidates must possess a valid Class A CDL, medical card, and pass drug, background, and driving tests.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL license
- History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and especially experience with a Class A CDL
- Strong physical stamina
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Able to pass drug test, background, Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen
- Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U. S. Department of Transportation and provide a valid medical card
- Valid medical card
