Job Summary
Conduct daily truck inspections, maintain mileage logs, and drive 18-wheelers to offsite locations while adhering to all safety policies. Operate a wood grinder during idle times and assist with shipping and receiving tasks. Complete work with accuracy and efficiency while following written or verbal instructions. This role requires a CDL license, two years of driving experience, and forklift proficiency. Overtime is required, including some weekends, with a flexible schedule. The position is based in the United States and involves prolonged sitting and lifting 40-50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a CDL license
- Ability to driver a Yard Dog
- Minimum of two years' experience in driving
- Read/Write/Speak English
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Must be able to frequently lift 40 - 50 lbs
- Ability to read measuring instruments
- Must be able to revise driving
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Overtime is required, including some weekends
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Shipping/Receiving Experience
- Forklift Experience
