CDL Yard Driver

CDL Yard Driver will transport waste and hazardous materials between Clean Earth facilities in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policy. Primary duties include operating licensed equipment to move containers and large items, performing warehouse-related tasks, labeling containers, and completing manifests. The role requires safe operation of tractors, trailers, tankers, roll-off frames, and box vans; proficiency with forklift or hand trucks; adherence to FMCSA/DOT rules; completion of pre-trip and post-trip inspections; and reporting incidents or safety concerns. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds unassisted, push/pull up to 500 pounds with pallet jack or similar, and work outdoors and indoors in varying conditions. Required qualifications include age 21+, a valid Class A CDL, and a current MEC and TWIC card, with HAZMAT or Tanker endorsement preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire. Fluency in English and strong knowledge of environmental/regulatory/DOT rules are expected, along with the ability to pass DOT physical, drug tests, and background checks. The position may involve overtime and other duties as assigned.
