Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-duty truck on swing routes across residential, commercial, and construction environments. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report, immediately reporting unsafe situations or service calls to Route Managers or Dispatch. Complete customer tickets, dump containers, and position them upright without blocking driveways. Follow route assignments, communicate customer requests, and submit documentation at the end of the day. Maintain a clean and safe vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- (CDL)-Class B
