Job Summary
Operate company-owned trucks to transport materials and finished products in Polkton, NC. Haul flatbeds and box trailers; represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and vendors. Manage delivery schedules and time effectively to meet shipment deadlines, while performing basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Maintain communication with shipping and supervisory staff regarding deliveries and comply with DOT regulations and safety policies. Most drivers average 50–60 hours per week, with overtime opportunities available after regular shift hours. Schedule notes: Shipping Department hours are 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; overtime opportunities available daily after the scheduled shift.
