Job Summary

Operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments to transport waste, recyclable material, and large mobile open-top containers from customer locations to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. Navigate high-traffic roadways, congested driveways, alleyways, and lots while performing highly skilled backing maneuvers in residential and industrial environments. Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, document checks, and complete end-of-day documentation. Report unsafe situations, service interruptions, or incidents to Operations Manager or Dispatch. Follow route assignments, communicate customer requests, and ensure customer locations are left clean and free of debris. Work Tue-sat starting at 4:30 AM with pay of $24.00/HR DOE.

Required Qualifications

  • 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
  • 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
  • Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
  • Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
  • Must be able to lift 1,000 pounds
  • Must be able to maneuver wheeled containers
  • Must be able to navigate high-traffic and congested roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots
  • Must be able to perform highly skilled backing maneuvers
  • Must be able to operate in tight overhead environments
  • Must be able to operate on industrial routes
  • Must be able to safely maneuver vehicles in residential environments
  • Must be able to stand
