Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks with roll-off attachments to transport waste and recyclable materials from customer locations to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. Navigate high-traffic roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots, performing highly skilled backing maneuvers in tight overhead environments. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, document checks via DVIR, and completely dump receptacles while leaving customer sites clean. Report unsafe situations, service interruptions, or incidents to Operations Manager or Dispatch, and communicate customer requests as directed. Follow route assignments, complete end-of-day documentation, and participate in scheduled training programs. Work Monday through Friday starting at 5am with a starting pay rate of $23.75/hr and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
- 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- (CDL)-Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, with an air-brake endorsement
- (CDL)-Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B, with an air-brake endorsement
