Job Summary
CDL Truck Driver Residential - ASL drives heavy-duty trucks to collect residential waste or recyclable material, performing back-up maneuvers and navigating through high-traffic/ residential areas. Responsibilities include conducting pre/post-trip inspections, reporting safety or service issues, following route assignments, and completing end-of-day documentation while maintaining a clean client site. The role requires CDL with air-brake endorsement (Class A or B), compliance with safety and DOT regulations, and coordination with Dispatch/Operations to ensure efficient routes and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement or Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
