Job Summary
Waste Management is seeking a CDL Truck Driver (Residential/Roll-off) to operate heavy-duty trucks for collecting waste or recyclable materials, navigate residential and industrial routes, and perform safe backing maneuvers. The role involves transporting containers to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, coordinating with Dispatch, ensuring route efficiencies, and leaving work sites clean. Required qualifications include a CDL with air-brake endorsement (Class A or B), English proficiency, at least 1 year of CDL-driving experience or equivalent military driving in the last 7 years, and successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and physical. Required Qualifications
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement or Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited) (preferred)
