Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments to transport waste or recyclable material to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. Navigate high-traffic roadways, driveways, alleyways, and lots while performing pre and post-trip inspections and documenting checks via DVIR. Completely dump receptacles, leaving customer locations clean, and report unsafe situations or service interruptions to Operations Manager or Dispatch. Follow route assignments as directed, complete end-of-day documentation, and attend all scheduled training programs. Work Monday through Friday with a 5am start time, earning $25.50 hourly plus a $2500 sign-on bonus and $300 boot allowance.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
- 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
