Job Summary
Operate a tractor/trailer in accordance with Company Policies and DOT guidelines, conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, secure cargo on the trailer, and make product deliveries per manifest. Verify product accuracy with scanners, obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery, maintain vehicle and trailer cleanliness, use the Mobile Electronic Onboard Recording device, report equipment or safety issues promptly, attend safety meetings, and comply with physical requirements (standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds) as needed. Requires 18+ months (2 years for Over the Road) verifiable tractor trailer driving, current Class A CDL, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 18- months verifiable tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the past 3 years required
- Over the Road drivers - 2 years verifiable tractor trailer commercial driving experience within the past 3 years required
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no more than 3 within the past 7 years
- No DUIs within the last 7 years
- No reckless driving, speeding 15mph and over, leaving the scene of an accident in the past 3 years
- No at-fault DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
- Current Class A CDL required
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- High level attention to detail
