Job Summary
CDL Truck Driver role with WM (Waste Management) requiring Class A or B CDL with air-brake endorsement. Drives heavy-duty trucks (front/side/rear-end load lift attachments) to collect waste or recyclables, including residential and roll-off duties. Performs pre/post-trip inspections, reports safety issues, and adheres to DOT/OSHA rules. Daily home time, benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401K with match), annual education assistance, and paid time off. Must back up with highly skilled maneuvering in urban and industrial environments; English proficiency required for interaction and reporting. Pay ranges from $25 to $31 per hour, with benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement or Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
