Job Summary
Safely operate a commercial truck or tractor-trailer to transport goods, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and state and federal regulations while maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details. Handle and secure freight safely, assist with loading and unloading, and communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or delays. Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers and clients as per schedules. Variable hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and subject to change by management.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A
- Tank Endorsement
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers and team members
- Physical ability to load and unload goods, lift heavy objects, and drive for extended hours
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
