Job Summary
Operate industrial trucks and tractors to move construction equipment and deliver parts to and from sites. Use devices such as forklifts, boom scoops, and lift beams to carry, push, pull, lift, stack, or tier heavy crates, drums, and boxes. Inspect product loads for accuracy before moving them to ensure timely and complete delivery. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment. Maintain a clear driving history report and possess a valid Class A driver's license. Work indoors and outdoors, including inclement weather, while standing, walking, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A driver's license
- Clear driving history report
- Familiarity with the use of GPS systems, roadways, or maps to assist in route planning
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to move items over 50 pounds with the use of a lift
- Ability to pass the required DOT physical
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors including times of inclement weather
