Job Summary
Operate commercial and standard vehicles to transport materials, merchandise, donations, trash, and mail to and from specified retail centers, plants, and vendor locations. Complete scheduled daily pick-ups, load and off-load production and merchandise using dollies, forklifts, and pallet jacks, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and inspection records in SAMSARA. Communicate with store managers, supervisors, and vendors regarding load drop-offs and receipt needs while adhering to safety procedures and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Commercial Driver License
- A criminal background check
- A drug screen
- Driving record for the past three years
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely
- Ability to follow safety procedures for lifting, carrying, loading, off-loading, and transporting goods
- Ability to maintain professionalism, dependability, accountability, and safe work practices
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials generally up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months of related driving, transportation, warehouse, route service, or material handling experience
- Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- Forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or related material-handling equipment experience
