Job Summary
Safely operate a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections and maintaining a clean, safe vehicle. Immediately report unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service, and notify them of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. Complete customer tickets for excess yardage, dump all containers leaving locations clean, and position containers properly to ensure lids are replaced and driveways remain clear. Follow route assignments throughout the day, communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch, and complete all documentation when checking in at the end of the route.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
- 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- (CDL)-Class B
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to push 50 lbs
- Must be able to pull 50 lbs
- Must be able to crouch
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to handle
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for overtime
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday: 5:00am start time
