Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments to transport waste, recyclable material, or large mobile containers to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. Navigate high-traffic roadways, congested driveways, alleyways, and lots, performing highly skilled backing maneuvers in both industrial and residential environments. Perform pre and post-trip inspections, document checks, and completely dump receptacles while leaving customer locations clean. Report unsafe situations, service interruptions, or incidents to Route Manager or Dispatch immediately. Follow route assignments, complete end-of-day documentation, and attend scheduled training programs as required. Work Monday through Friday with a 5am start time, earning $22.00 to $31.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
- Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A with an air-brake endorsement
- Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B with an air-brake endorsement
