Job Summary
Transport fuels and lubricants using Transport or Tankwagon trucks while adhering to DOT, OSHA, and federal safety regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform minor maintenance, and service heavy equipment by fueling, greasing, and topping off fluids. Safely drive to and from destinations, verify directions with plant personnel, and maintain radio contact with dispatch for delivery instructions. Complete pre and post-trip inspections, perform basic roadside repairs, and keep equipment clean. Maintain productive relationships with customers and field contacts to maximize opportunities and ensure customer needs are addressed. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL, one year of CDL driving experience, and hazmat/tanker endorsement. Work outdoors in an environment with dirt, dust, noise, vibration, and fumes; frequently lifts up to 50 lbs and climbs ladders.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license
- One year of experience as a CDL driver
- One or more years of experience handling petroleum products and/or hazardous materials
- HAZWOPER (24 hour) and Annual Refresher (8 hour) OR willing to attend training courses at Mansfield Service Partners
- X Endorsement required (hazmat and tanker endorsement)
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with dispatchers and team members
- Ability to plan and manage routes and schedules efficiently
- Ability to maintain vehicles and ensure compliance with inspection standards
- Basic knowledge of motor fluids and routine maintenance requirements
- Understanding of diesel and DEF compartments and their specific requirements
- Physically capable of climbing on and off equipment safely, maintaining three-point contact at all times
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladders up to 10 feet in height
- Must be willing to travel via vehicle and airplane
