Job Summary
CDL Trainee in Juneau, AK earns $25/hour during training and transitions to a $27/hour full-time CDL Driver role. Training includes a weeklong classroom course, behind-the-wheel training, and a road test to earn a Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement. Duties include operating a garbage truck on local routes, collecting solid waste and recyclables, following route sheets, performing vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, and providing friendly, professional service to customers.
