Job Summary
Operate a shuttle bus to transport customers to and from the facility, greeting passengers and assisting with loading and unloading. Conduct pre/post trip inspections of vehicles and monitor traffic, weather, and vehicle conditions to ensure safety and efficiency. Communicate with dispatchers via two-way radio to coordinate routes, announce arrivals, and handle customer or vehicle issues. Monitor vehicle condition, record malfunctions, and report accidents or safety situations to supervisors. Treat all customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner while working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- CDL
- 3 Years Drivers License
- Valid driver's license (at least 3 years)
- A, B or C comercial drivers license with a passenger endorsement
- Public passenger endorsement (S, V, A or F)
- DOT medical card
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to operate a passenger van safely and efficiently
- Ability to work flexible hours, evenings, and weekends
- Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed
- Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way
- Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service: 1 year+
- Experience driving a shuttle bus or commercial vehicle: 1 year+
