Job Summary
Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently, transporting passengers to their destinations while delivering an exceptional client experience through answering questions and providing city directions. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain bus cleanliness, fuel vehicles, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers. Ensure punctual attendance in uniform, report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager, and communicate debris or spills to the garage office. Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized. Possess a valid CDL Class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement, a DOT Medical Card, and a clean DMV record. Work scheduled days, including potential 3rd shift or weekends, with availability to lift up to 75 pounds. Assist customers with luggage and navigate garage layouts to ensure seamless transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Per DOT Regulations, you will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card)
- Availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company
- Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money
- Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times
- The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle cash and equipment
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
- The employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
