Job Summary
Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently in Fort Lee, transporting passengers while ensuring a seamless checkout-free experience. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain bus cleanliness, fuel vehicles, and log trip counts. Assist customers with directions, luggage, and accessibility needs, and report safety hazards or accidents to the Facility Manager. Communicate debris or spills to the garage office and substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized. Maintain a valid CDL Class A or B license with passenger endorsements, a DOT medical card, and a clean DMV record. Work scheduled shifts, including potential third shifts or weekends, adhering to uniform and appearance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Class A & B Passenger Endorsements with NO N2 Restrictions
- Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement
- DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate)
- Availability to work 3rd shift and/or weekends
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees
- Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform mathematical operations using units of American money
- Valid state-issued driver's license to be carried with driver, at all times, while on duty
- Acceptable DMV record
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times
- Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment
- Ability to sit and climb or balance
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
