Job Summary
Local CDL Route Driver for Lakeshore Disposal in McCall, ID. Operate automated, side-load, front-load, and roll-off garbage trucks on assigned routes; read route sheets and service each customer identified; perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance; safely lift and load refuse, operate hydraulic controls, and dispose of material at designated facilities; maintain cleanliness of equipment; provide courteous customer service; work independently with occasional overtime and weekend hours; starting pay around $30.50+/hr DOE with paid training, holidays, benefits, retirement plan, and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with Air Brakes endorsement OR Class A or B CDL Permit (Must hold permit prior to job offer)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
- Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- DOT drug screening
- Criminal background check
- Motor vehicle record screening
- Physical capacity exam
