Job Summary
Operate a roll-off truck safely and compliantly to deliver, remove, and haul waste or construction debris to disposal sites on assigned routes or work orders. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, complete DVIR logs, and visually inspect containers for proper load securement. Maintain truck cleanliness, enter/exit the vehicle multiple times per day, and climb to hook/unhook containers while moving items to smooth loads. Clean up areas around the compactor as needed and professionally interact with internal and external customers while coordinating with dispatch on additional work orders. Requires a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and at least 1-2 years of truck driving experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
- Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Must be able to read and speak the English language
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to drive manual transmission is preferred
- 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience preferred
- Waste industry experience, a plus
