Job Summary
CDL Recruiting Specialist needed to join a two-recruiter team to accelerate high-volume CDL driver hiring. Manage full lifecycle recruiting from first contact to employment, using HireMaster.ai and Ashli AI for screening and scheduling. Conduct outbound sourcing on Meta, Craigslist, and other CT platforms, qualify candidates against DOT requirements (CDL Class A, tanker endorsement preferred), coordinate with yard supervisors for start dates and onboarding, track cost per hire and source performance, and promote the $5,000 referral program. Role emphasizes relationship-building, conversion, and meeting aggressive hiring targets (13+ hires per two weeks with two recruiters). Location-based work in Scranton, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Experience recruiting CDL Class A drivers
- understanding CDL market and driver objections
- Strong phone presence
- Familiarity with ATS or CRM platforms (HireMaster.ai training provided)
- Knowledge of DOT driver qualification requirements (49 CFR 391.23, MVR, drug screening, background check, Clearinghouse)
- Ability to work independently and manage pipeline
- Experience with social media recruiting preferred (Meta and Craigslist)
