CDL Rear Load Truck Driver

Job Summary
Residential Rear Load Drivers service customers with the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. This position operates various types of trucks. Drivers will service many different routes in various areas. Responsibilities include providing trash or recycling removal services, entering/exiting the truck 300-500 times per day, handling containers, replacing receptacles at curbs, cleaning spills, maintaining route logs, conducting pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and delivering containers as needed. Requires excellent customer service, map-reading ability, strong driving/maneuvering skills, basic truck mechanics knowledge, and effective written/verbal communication.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least a valid Class B CDL
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to read and speak the English language
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years
- Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
- Must be able to read and understand a map
- Must be able to travel between offices, as required
